MajstorMe (majstorme.com) is a platform for finding home handymen in Montenegro. This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, how we use it, and how we protect it.

We process personal data in compliance with Montenegro's Law on Personal Data Protection and applicable GDPR standards.

When you register and use the service, we may collect:

• Name and email address (required for registration).
• Phone number (for notifications and account security).
• Role on the platform: client or handyman.
• Profile photo and portfolio images (uploaded voluntarily).
• Skill descriptions, service categories, and handyman ratings.
• Chat messages (for support and safety purposes).

We use your data to:

• Create and maintain your account.
• Provide platform features: search, task responses, chat.
• Send email notifications about tasks, responses, and chat.
• Ensure security: fraud and spam prevention.
• Improve the service based on aggregated analytics.
• Comply with legal obligations.

Data is stored on secure cloud servers in the EU region. We apply encryption in transit and at rest.

Server logs (IP address, browser type) are automatically generated by our hosting provider solely for attack protection — not used for advertising or tracking.

Data is kept until account deletion. After deletion everything is removed within 30 days, except what we are legally required to retain.

We do not sell your data. Data may only be shared in three cases:

• With other platform users — only the public part of your profile (name, rating, categories, portfolio).
• Trusted EU providers (hosting, email delivery) — only the minimum data needed to operate the service.
• Government authorities — only when legally required.
